Sending peace and joy to you from Martha's Vineyard, as well. LOVE 💖 your writing and still use all the tools you shared with us at IATSE Local 600 Collaborative Communication workshop in NYC. Have been to Howth, and the lively trad sessions there and embrace the energy you bring to this world.

For years I went to Cape Cod pretty much every year, especially to Provincetown. :) I’m curious where you caught a trad session in Howth— if you remember the name of the pub? :)

My other very dear friend in Ireland was the one who took me to Kilruddery years and years ago. She now lives and works in Bray. Would so love to connect the two of you. She does incredible community building work there. Her name is Niamh Barrett.

I'll have to ask my childhood friend and author, Nicole Galland, who spent a year in Howth getting her doctorate in Dublin not long ago, and just last year she went back to direct and create a musical play that was a weekend hit.

The answers:

The Top House (aka MacNeil’s) - where we heard the trad music

Lara O’Brien - contact there (through Nicki)

"Last Call" - the show,

Performed last year at the Sea Angling Club - and they are reviving it in April!

So glad you enjoyed the holiday edition of The Liminal and glad you tried and enjoyed the cake! I forgot to mention that I added some shaved chocolate to the top before adding icing sugar to make it look more textured like bark. But taste wise, I found it rich enough without adding more to it! :)
